The begining of Alomodóvar was darker than his latest films, with the time he has lost that dark side and that characteristic evil humor that to me is a rush of air to my lungs every time I see it, in this film he portraits a typical middle class spanish family living in the suburbs with all its problems and all its details to the very Almodóvar style.
Chus Lampreave is hilarious in this film!
