Human beings like formulae. Our kids watch the same Thomas the tank engine video over and over again when they are young. We like things like House MD which have basically 1 plot told over and over again.
For that reason I cant be too critical of 'What happens in Vegas'. You know exactly what is going to happen, and the film is true to type, but somehow Diaz and Kutcher pull it off with aplomb.
The result is a surprisingly likeable movie. Don't expect it to change your life or make you think, but... enjoy.
