Review of What Happened to Monday (2017) by Brendan N — 18 Aug 2017

The premise of the film is what caught my eye and must say this is one of the better concepts in 2017. Netflix should continue down this road of intriguing high concepts much like A24 productions. I don't want to watch mega budgets like the Will Smith Bright in December, give me a film like this any day of the week, this is the building foundation the studio should adapt.

I wish a film like this would come to the threatres but sadly we need to sit at home on our big screen Tvs. This is a suspenseful and very topical film that should grow into a cult film over time. I didn't look away the duration and hope to see another film like this with Death Note drawing closer.

Netflix is on the move and this and Okja in their cannon, a move to indie cinema is a must to ensure creator control for future films. 20-08-2017.
