Review of What Happened to Monday (2017) by Brandon R — 11 Nov 2017
Very fun Netflix movie. If you're into the dystopian, dark, over-populated, Orwellian future with a few people fighting against the system, you'll be into this in a big way. Excellent acting by Noomi Rapace (whom I'd never heard of) playing multiple sisters. DaFoe is always dependable and does a great job as the grandfather of the girls. I watched it without seeing a description which turned out to be much more fun than seeing a review (and why I'm being so vague). If you like the type of movie I'm describing just turn on Netflix and watch it without learning anything else about it.
As a side note to the politics of over-population, I remember being spooked as a young man from Paul Erlich's book, The Population Bomb. Overall his predictions ended up being completely wrong, with some European countries suffering from under-population.
