The fiercest case of sibling rivalry ever told! No matter how many times I watch this, it always gets me thinking.

I first watched this in my early teens, and I had no idea of the fierce real-life rivalry which existed between Davis and Crawford. Now that I do, its all the more interesting.

You have to wonder which sister your allegiances lie with here. Each is deeply flawed in their own way. Baby Jane Hudson is such a complex character - at times she is psychotic and evil, at others a lost little girl who pines for her daddy and her faded youth. Bette Davis plays her perfectly. She's a wonder in this role.

Blanche is presented to us as the 'good' sister...but all is not what it seems...
