A deliciously dark psychodrama and black comedy. In the same vain as Sunset Boulevard's Gloria Swanson, Joan Crawford and Bette Davis play aging actresses holding on to former glory. Davis in particular plays an absolute monster, in the most grotesque, creepy way.
