Review of What Dreams May Come (1998) by Marta A — 28 Mar 2010
"What Dreams May Come" is an enjoyable movie, but it has some flaws. Even though the photography, the visuals and the writing were amazing, I think it fails mostly when it comes to the casting choices. As much as I love Robin Williams, this definitely wasn't the right choice for the main part. I actually thought he wasn't that bad in other more serious roles he has done like "Patch Adams", but here the basis is pretty much the same (hello, paediatrician) and it just doesn't work.
Other than that, even though it wasn't brilliant, it is a good movie.
