Review of What Dreams May Come (1998) by Jana B — 11 Jan 2010
Forget what "they" say.
WHAT DREAMS MAY COME is a wonderful and fantastic look at "the afterlife" and, to me, is deeply, spiritually moving, because it says we "do exist" even after death and are never alone.
The movie is better than the book.
The reviewers who pan this film are pretty cynical and pessimistic about God and life-after-death and probably think that reviewers like me who DO BECOME swept-away with life-after-death-films are naive and gullible.
My favorite part is Werner Herzog as one of the souls in the afterlife calling out for "Klaus; are you there Klaus? Is that you?".
Robin Williams replies, "I'm sorry, my friend; I haven't seen Klaus.".
A must see.
