Review of What About Bob? (1991) by Shane D — 17 Jul 2010
In reality, the only saving grace of this film is Murray's performance, otherwise its pretty bloody annoying. Everything else about this becomes very tired very quickly. Dreyfuss is hard on the ears, his families quickness to accept the loony Bob is almost laughable and there are really only a few genuine laughs.
I think for think for the most part its Murray's legacy and the fact that he is so well loved that has allowed this performance to be as well considered as it seems to be.
