Review of What About Bob? (1991) by Adrian Z — 28 Jul 2014
Bill Murray is just brilliant as needy hypochondriac Bob Wiley, who takes a shine on his new rigid, irritable shrink - Richard Dreyfuss, putting in an exceptionally good straight man performance - and follows him all the way to his holiday home in New Hampshire, where much to the Doctor's chagrin, everyone loves him.
Seasoned comedy director Frank Oz tunes the film just right between pleasant and painfully awkward. Kooky score by Miles Goodman.
