Review of Whale Rider (2003) by Kristen F — 27 May 2008
This touching story centers around a little girl and her grandfather. She is the direct descendant to enherit the leadership but is denied due to the fact that she is female. This story makes me cry everytime I see it.
Keisha Castle-Hughes is outstanding as the brave girl who longs for her grandfather's approval and respect.
