Review of Whale Rider (2003) by Greg F — 07 Jul 2008
Just a great, feel-good movie with an incredible performance by Keisha Castle-Hughes in the lead. It strains some credibility (as will be obvious) near the end, but it just doesn't really matter. This one is worth checking out, and the scene where she performs her poem is just beautiful and heartbreaking film-making.
