A snotter. A great story with all the magical moments worthy of cinema. Niki Caro shows that a woman can direct a great movie also. Keisha Castle-Hughes had an inspiring performance. If there was a fault it was that the anti-female prejudice of Paikea's father was a bit too overbearing and overplayed.
