Review of Wet Hot American Summer (2001) by Gary G — 10 May 2009
Absurd, ridiculous, hysterical. A great cast has a ball in this send-up/homage of 80's camp movies. Made in 2001, its a veritable who's who of comedy 8 years later (and its nice to see someone like Christopher Meloni be funny after years of work on Oz and L&O).
Not every joke is a home run, but there are almost too many to notice the ones that miss the mark. Has two of the best montages in recent film history as well.
