Review of Wet Hot American Summer (2001) by Mary H — 21 Mar 2010
I feel bamboozled. Perhaps, I wanted just too much from this film to ever benefit from the payoff. The setup was 1981, summer camp, David Wain, fantastic comedic cast that only gets better over time, and yet by the end, I felt so letdown.
It just never gave me the payoff I was waiting for. Bummer.
