Review of Wet Hot American Summer (2001) by Craig C — 16 May 2010
I generally hate these kind of movies and thus ignore them. However, this seemed to be quite popular so I thought I'd give it ago. And I really want those 100 minutes back.
Honestly, I have no idea what anyone likes about it. The acting was horrible. The jokes weren't funny and the delivery was off. The only thing I liked at all, was Christopher Meloni, who was the only one who actually seemed to be trying. But, even then, he would have a 'funny' line and then the joke would go on for 10 minutes. A lot of the jokes were like that; with an unnecessary punchline. There were also some potentially funny situations that were totally wasted; one of these being Bradley Cooper's character being gay.
