Review of Wet Hot American Summer (2001) by Douglas A — 28 Aug 2009
Awkward, and not in a Steve Carell hilarious way. It was like a bunch of writers with their own quirky little in-jokes and senses of humor got together and wrote a very self-indulgent screenplay that just isn't funny enough for the brilliant cast of comedic geniuses.
It was weird, and I usually really appreciate weird, but this just missed the mark. Very disappointing.
