Review of Westworld (1973) by Karl-Johan L — 02 Sep 2008
I'd have to turn in my comedian card if I didn't make a joke about Jim Fixx. So somewhere in the middle of Hell, the spot reserved for actors, Yul Brynner is being blown by Jim Fixx, and then they both die of heart attacks. Over and over and over again.
This movie represents the beginnings of Michael Crichton's theme park fetish, and has been referenced on the Simpsons.
So seriously, don't ever go to a theme park with robot attracts. They will shoot you.
And this movie is like Night of the Comet. Consistent logic and just charming enough to be fun.
