Review of Westworld (1973) by Cid H — 10 Feb 2009
The best part about Crichton's 1973 sci-fi pic is that it knows exactly what it is and gets right to the point; there are no long-winded scientific explanations, there is no real character development, there is no attempt at romanticism.
Instead, there's eighty-eight minutes of well-calculated escapist action headed by a fantastic cast. Yul Brynner is engulfingly evil.
