Review of Westworld (1973) by Colin F — 28 Dec 2011
Very Dated but is still a great film. It is a brilliant idea of a theme park set in the future with three different worlds that are Roman, Medievil and Westworld where for a £1000 dollars a day you holiday in a recreation of that world with human like robots.
It starts off like a great holiday until the robots logic circuits blow a fuse and they go on the rampage killing guests. Yul Brenner is superb as the Gunslinger Cowboy robot who has gone bonkers and starts hunting down one of the guests, it is very much The Terminator of its day, Draw! Great ending also, well worth checking out.
