Review of West Side Story (1961) by Josh G — 05 Jun 2009
From the opening fights-like-dances scene to the streets and ending credits, it's all stunning. A dark musical with light and pretty choreography and fabulous supporting roles, this film remains a classic. I also praise the cinematography, musical score and Rita Moreno's performance.
Favorite song: America, A Boy Like That, There's a Place for Us.
