I will confess. I was a person who thought dancing a street fight was ridicules. Dancing greasers. Stupid. My wife wanted to see it so I watched it. I am NOT a dance person. Instead of just telling a story straight.
This tells the story through dance. The first 5 or so minutes has no talking at all. Just dance. But dance to call all the greasers together. The rumble scene is unbelievable. Stylized fighting to dance.
The musical score is beyond any musical I have ever seen. See this with an open mind bout dancing. You will understand.
