Review of West of Memphis (2012) by Gene A — 05 Feb 2013
Very interesting and detailed doc about how justice can deeply fail and how recognition of justice failure is hardly accepted by the responsible ones. Nevertheless, sometimes it feels too sentimental, and the celebrity-like phenomena around the 3 innocent men in jail (especially with Damien Echols) does not help either.
This story is profoundly sad and tragic, but it also shows the importance of courage, fighting for what one believes and never giving up.
