An important documentary, that's haunting in a number of ways... It was so well put together with information that I feel like I know everything about the events and those involved without having known much of anything before I hit play.

It's a reminder of how anyone, and any form of government, is capable of making mistakes, ones that could end up ruining the lives of innocent people. I just hate how a state's court system is 'programmed' to back its final decisions, even when innocent people are wrongly convicted.

The Arkansas court system, most noticeably to my eyes-during the 18 years these boys spent in jail, see themselves as a system that NEVER make mistakes-never 'ruin' people's lives. They won't admit that.

They're just trying to protect themselves. It's wrong. Sometimes, in cases like this, there is no trusting the system, because of the fact innocent lives get punished and those truly responsible get to walk free.

This documentary also tells us that no matter how long it takes, how stressful it becomes, you can't give up on the truth because TRUTH is the very key that opens the door to freedom.
