Review of West Is West (2010) by Steve J — 27 Feb 2011
The Khan family first appeared in 'East is East' (1999) and this film follows them 4 years later. Jahangir 'George' Khan returns to his native Pakistan with his youngest son, who is ashamed of the taunts of Paki that fill his school days in Manchester.
There the family tensions of being a multi-racial family are turned around as George faces those he left 30 years before. 8.5/10.
