Review of Werewolf of London (1935) by Tristan D — 03 Jun 2009
Universal's first werewolf effort plays like an alternative Jekyll & Hyde with Warner Oland providing most of the film's best moments as Dr. Yogami. Valerie Hobson is stunning as always and Henry Hull does a good, if slightly unsympathetic job, as the title character.
A classic chiller.
