Review of Were the World Mine (2008) by Robbie M — 04 Jan 2010
Two stars for the sincerity of the makers. But, oh, the gay! The musical numbers, particularly the rugby-infused ones, made me cower. I gave not a care for the mom's subplot, and ultimately it feels like a student's undertaking.
Short-subject Shirtlessness by an Ensemble eligibility notwithstanding (but that's on twitter), this is a feeble creation, and I can only feel that idiotic sublimation has been prevalent in the warmth of its audiences' receptions.
