Review of We're the Millers (2013) by Em W — 17 Jul 2015
Somewhere between the Hangover R comedy formula and the Griswolds you find We're the Millers, focusing on Jason Sudekis, a looser drug dealer whose never really grown up that, in order to square a deal with his main supplier for his stash he distributes, is contracted to make a run down to Mexico in order to pick up a restock of weed, and the gang of misfit neighbours he recruits to pose as his family in order to pose as little suspicion as possible at the border.
Pretty predictable stuff here you come to expect and most of the scenarios are pretty tame despite the over the top scenarios they are in outside of a wannabe risque threesome walk in they set up between Aniston, Roberts and Poulter that does trigger a couple of chuckles and the now well documented Jennifer Aniston Flashdance segment.
Outside the film doesnt go far enough to maintain loads of laughs but enough to trigger mild amusement.
