Review of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993) by Ryan P — 03 Jun 2007
I loved this when I was a kid...but I watched it the other day and unlike the classic Disney cartoons of the early 90's I can't see why. The entire premise is ridiculous even for an animated movie about dinosaurs.
I mean, a bunch of prehistoric beasts getting abducted by a friendly alien and being forced-fed "Brain Bran" (is that a breakfast cereal or something?) until they become nice and compassionate? Eh.
This was also way too short and the only dino given a decent part was Rex. The woman who voices Lisa Simpson also voices the little girl in this movie and it's quite distracting. And the little boy in this movie is a punk, he's about 7 and thinks he's a gangster walkin around downtown Manhattan with a Brooklyn accent.
I'd fuck him up. With all that said...ROLL BACK THE ROCK!
