Review of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993) by Matthew M — 11 Aug 2009

I remember I had the book when I was kid. Did not know they made a movie adaptation untill I read that the Nostalgia critic was reviewing it. I decided to see what it was about. I first noticed how short of a movie it was and it being a cartoon and intended for kids it makes sense.

It is surprising however the movie without the credits runs 65-66 minutes long. That cuts out a lot of parts that are important in the movie. It went by so fast and it felt like a lot was missing from it.

Its amazing what 20-30 more minutes can do to make a feature film have more feeling. The movie is entertaining though and always ont he move. Very few if no parts at all that were boring. The story moves along and the ending although bizarre it still is fun to watch.

The dinosaurs do creative actions and the scenes are not dull. Overall, it is an enjoyable kids movie that is fun. I also would like to mention how the clown has some cool animations and fun tricks as well.
