An enjoyable TV movie. Brenda Song is so lovely. She is quite impressive in the fight scenes. Shin Koyamada is a monk sent to protect and train a descendent of a warrior Brenda Song to battle evil. It has been going on for centuries.

She is preparing for the homecoming queen title against her enemy Ellen Woglom. Her mum is busy preparing for the museum upcoming exhibition on China. The evil arrives and possess people to get near to Brenda.

Her brother Justin Chon is possess and nearly kills her at home while she is asleep but Shin save her. Her grandma Tsai Chin know about her identity as warrior. Shin keep appearing to ask her wear the amulet for protection and go for training.

Ellen told Branda she can't qualify for the title if she can't pass her exams. Shin offer to tutor her in history of China but she must train for the battle. From the training she finally pass the history and also become the warrior.

She also give Shin a makeover and he become so hot in school. When she found out the battle takes place on her homecoming day, she forgo the battle. Shin went alone and wasn't the evil match. The monks come to inform Brenda and she goes to his help, finally defeating the evil lord.

And then it revives and kills Shin. She pass energy to him and revive him and together defeat the evil forever. The recycle incarnations is stop and Shin will continue to live this life as the last. The evil is gone forever because this time round the warrior had done something others didn't and that is self sacrifice for friendship.
