Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by V9Y J — 24 Dec 2008
A short, yet pretty slow, film following a woman and her dog after her car breaks down in a small town. Michelle Williams gives an excellent performance, as the quiet, and reserved Wendy. It feels incredibly real, with a non-existent soundtrack, and very uninvasive camera.
A real gem, that I hope isn't completely ignored this year.
