Sad and spare telling of a go-for-broke situation. The Walgreen's security guard was the most memorable character, though I wondered why in Podunk, Oregon they required constant vigilance over a parking lot.

Also I wished Wendy had extracted some vengeance on the smug prick at the grocery store.
