Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Patrick R — 31 Jan 2009
Like a small poem, this film is a circle that pulls you into its deep. Each gesture, each word, each scene, each look carries great weight. Michelle Williams somehow creates a character who is lost and losing ground, slipping ever more rapidly downslope, yet brings dignity to the act of trudging on.
