Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Codie E — 06 Apr 2009
Minimal and the better for it, as it allows small moments to feel so grand and life changing (the affection of the security guard). There have been better Modern American Minimalist films (George Mashington, Undertow, Shotgun Stories) but its pleasing to see the prestige being bestowed on this effort.
And further proof that Michelle Williams is one of the finest young female actors around.
