Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Ben A — 18 May 2009
Impressively restrained, instinctively lyrical at the right times, WENDY AND LUCY manages to speak volumes on the state of being lost without saying much at all. It does itself great favors as well to play out the â??storyâ?? all in Michelle Williamsâ?? eyes.
The state of being lost has seldom had instruments as simultaneously enigmatic and expressive as her two lenses flaring back from the screen. Star Trek: The Wrath of the Lens Flares has nothing on Williams.
