Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Matt D — 13 Jun 2009
I'm sure some people would enjoy this film but I found it tedious to the extreme. Michelle Williams tries her best but its hard to care for Wendy as we know so little about her character save that she's homeless and she's heading to Alaska.
The lack of any background sound or striking visuals sometimes helps an indie film but not here. Its a poorly told story and a shakily visual film. I just didn't enjoy it.
