Wendy and Lucy perfectly captures a tragedy that's both simple and profound. More than once, I was reminded of De Sica's "The Bicycle Thief" when watching it. If you've seen the aforementioned film, then you know what a great compliment that last sentence was.
Also, as an added bonus, Will Oldham is in it. Rock.
