Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Dryorophus — 09 Feb 2010
Michelle does a brilliant job portraying a young woman who is totally alone- except for her dog- a dog that I feel is the one keeping her going . it's heartwrenching to watch her lose control of her fate through circumstances that could so easily happen to anyone of us.
Just one serious illness, or other serious unplanned event in our lifes could render us pennyless ( or close enough to it to lose everything)- well I guess not everyone - but those that live paycheck to paycheck .
A wonderful, sad but bittersweet film- brought me to tears many times.
