This is heartbreaking movie about a young woman en route to Alaska and her beloved dog, Lucy. Wendy and Lucy are on their way from Indiana in hopes of making a living in an Alaskan fishing town. The minimalist tone of the movie and the performances bring home the loneliness of the pair, Wendy and Lucy against the world, and make Wendy's heart wrenching decisions even more dificult to bear.
Do not watch this movie if you are in the least bit depressed.
