Powerful minimalism is many filmmakers' siren call. So many sunken ships line this patch of the cinema ocean. Its like a Bermuda triangle out here. But then, once in a rare while, films like this come along.
Quietly, reservedly, almost effortlessly sailing on through to the other side. Making their points vivid as day.
