Review of Wendigo (2002) by Sari O — 13 Jul 2007

On a shit budget, it's obvious that putting together a convincing creature was nearly impossible. Where this movie shines is its story. Very eerie and disturbing, the story uses metaphors and imagery that do so much more to scare the audience than a monster made out of sticks.

I was disappointed for a small chunk of time, but found the ending to be surprisingly satisfying. People say Fessenden will one day make his horror masterpiece... I wait for it with anticipation.
