Review of Welcome to the Sticks (2008) by Thomas R — 27 Apr 2008

I went to see Bienvenue chez les ch'tis with my family last week and I have to say this is a great movie about France and how the South sees the North and vice versa.

All the bias are identified and treated with such a wonderful sense of humor and care. One of the great movie in 2008 and probably of the decade.

To truly enjoy it requires a strong level of French and French regional biases but you could get a good sense for why you can't say there is not only one French but many of them.
