Review of Welcome to the Sticks (2008) by Ming Siu G — 18 Oct 2008
A movie filled with light-hearted jokes about French culture. The movie depicts the society problem of the country between Northern France and Southern France. The film is extremely real and will leave you laughing - especially if you're French - because the jokes are very original.
A very interesting idea for a movie that can be used by every other country in the world. It's also a very touching film, especially at the ending. It will leave you both touched, happy and feel-good at the same time.
And in the end, the film has a huge moral that has the same meaning as 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. A place might look horrible but it's the people inside that's important. Touching, heart-warming and funny, Ch'tis is a must-see for all ages.
