It Is nice looking, has the cream of the British acting industry in it.....and should have been a 3 part mini-series on tv!!!! It's really watchable,improving in the second half but, personally I don't think it is a "big screen movie"- Mark Strong and Peter Mullan are reliably brilliant, and James McAvoy (looking like Russell Crowe`s younger brother!)is also good, Personally,i think,they could have added more to the story,stretched it over 3 one hour episodes and walked away with several baftas.
...don't think it will trouble the Oscars next year though!!!!
