Review of Welcome to the Punch (2013) by Matthew S — 24 Mar 2013
It's stylish and makes London look like a sort of neon-lit future-ville. But as the story unfolds it makes less and less sense, and most of the characters are half-baked. It can't decide whether to focus on the two main characters, or broaden out into a thriller with a bigger political canvas.
As a result, in spite of the good actors and decent set-pieces, it remains a muddled compromise.
