I understood the dark comedy, but I didn't feel that it was the forte of the movie. Todd Solondz is absolutely brilliant. It goes places that no movie has gone before. This basically covers the very dark areas of school, but it's not like you would think.
The soundtrack is absolutely perfect, as well.
