Review of Welcome to Macintosh (2008) by Steven S — 11 Jan 2011
Poorly made. There are numerous sound issues, and some of the boringest scenes to film interviews at. The background music was also bad. The shots of lone macs sitting in various "country" settings, like on a tractor, were not interesting or creative, but they thought they were.
The interviewees were a lot of nobodies with nothing interesting or insightful. Which is typical for any book and movie trying to do the history of Apple, because none of the major players will ever talk. Someday if Jobs retires we'll get a great book or movie and understand how it all went down.
The only interesting guy was the sound guy who invented the mac startup sound we all know. He was so sarcastic and jaded, it was hilarious.
