There's nothing better when a film attempts to be cool and is able to pull it off. The flipside is that it is sad to watch a film try so hard to pull off the cool factor and fail miserably. That is the problem with Weirdsville. It wants so much to be the type of film that will be watched at late night video parties for years to come. The problem is there is nothing of substance to convince future viewers to do just that. Most of the problems lie in the character development. The filmmakers want such quirky, unique, and mental characters that they fail to give them a living breathing soul. They come across as cardboard cutouts of a limited imagination..
