Review of Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022) by Dubeau — 04 Nov 2022

Weird is not a bad movie but not a great one either. The story is not a biopic. It contains some truths but is largely, like the songs Al wrote, written over the real biopic. I get the analogy but it doesn't make for a good story.

There was a lot of long moments,and the humour or drama, were very unequal. That said the actors are pretty good, the music also. I give it 65%, mostly for the actors. But that said, I skipped a lot of the movie after the half.

I didn't find it funny or that interesting.
